Over 1.27 lakh voters to exercise franchise in Mandsaur on July 6

164 polling teams to conduct elections

Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): A total of 1,27,874 voters will exercise their vote in 164 polling stations during the first phase of civic bodies' elections in Mandsaur on July 6.

On Tuesday, a day before polling in the town, 164 polling parties left for their respective polling stations in the morning to conduct the polling. Ten percent of polling parties have been kept in reserve. For this 18 sector officers have been appointed.

Elections will be held for 40 wards of Mandsaur Municipality. For this, 149 polling stations have been set up. A total of 1,22,235 voters will exercise their franchise at these centres. Of these polling stations, 38 have been designated as sensitive, 5 very sensitive and 106 general polling stations. The number of Sector Officers appointed is 15

The Municipal Council elections will be held for 15 wards. For this 15 polling stations have been set up. A total of 5 thousand 639 voters will exercise their vote at these centres. There are 2 sensitive and 13 general polling stations.

Three Sector Officers have been appointed. Polling will be held from 7 am to 5 pm on July 6 at all polling stations. Those voters who get the slip to vote at 3 pm will be able to vote till late.
