7 stuck in lift at Thane police administrative building

THANE: Seven visitors to the Thane police administrative building got stuck in an elevator for nearly 15 minutes following a snag on Monday. However, no one was injured.
The incident occured around 11am when the elevator got stuck on the second floor of the 7-storey building. A team from Jawharbaug fire station rushed to the spot and managed to open the lift and rescue those inside.
A probe will be launched to ascertain the cause of the malfunction, officials said.
