Locksmiths steal jewellery from BRS Nagar house

Ludhiana: Two locksmiths called to a BRS Nagar house decamped with gold jewellery after opening a safe.
Complainant Raghuvir Singh of the colony’s ‘B’ block claimed that his wife had called them from the street on July 2 to repair a doorlock and they had asked her for an almirah key, saying they will try to open the doorlock with that.
However, they distracted the woman and used the key to steal earrings, chain, and rings from the almirah. Sarabha Nagar police responded to the family’s call and started to identify and hunt down the accused.
