12 villages including Kalakund cut off
Twelve villages of Kalakund Panchayat were completely cut off on Tuesday.
Torrential rain washed away a part of the culvert at Utediya and Choral on the road that connects these villages to the main road. The other route Kalakund-Bhagora is not fit for transport as rocks often fall on this mountainous route. Traffic was closed for about four hours due to the overflowing water from the culvert in Datoda. Torrential rain also affected Khandwa Road. Vehicles moved slowly at Bhairav Ghat due to the strong water current.
