SINGAPORE: Five men were arrested for suspected drug activities during a raid in Jalan Bukit Merah on Monday (Jul 4).

Drugs with an estimated street value of S$223,000 were seized, comprising about 1.06kg of Ice, 147g of heroin and 1g of cannabis, said the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) in a news release on Tuesday.

Another 31g of heroin and a small amount of Ice were recovered from two other men.

Officers then searched the unit and found about 1.02g of Ice, 107g of heroin, 1g of cannabis and various drug paraphernalia at various places, including the toilet bowl and drainage trap.

Investigations into the suspects’ drug activities are ongoing.
