Travis Barker says he is feeling much better after a health scare earlier this week.
On Tuesday, the 46-year-old was rushed to the hospital.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that Barker was hospitalised for pancreatitis – an inflammation of the pancreas that causes abdominal pain – which doctors believe was triggered by a recent colonoscopy.
On Saturday, the Blink-182 drummer shared an update on his health on Instagram Stories. He wrote: "I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalised ever since."
Barker explained during the procedure that he had a small polyp removed in a very sensitive which damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.
"This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis. I am so very, very grateful that with the intensive treatment, I am currently much better," he wrote.
Barker's wife, Kourtney Kardashian, and also commented on their 'scary and emotional' week in an Instagram Story.
"Our health is everything, and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change. Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together, and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis," she wrote.
The 43-year-old said she is grateful to God for healing her husband and for all the prayers, love, and support. She also thanked the doctors and nurses at Cedars Sinai "for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay."
In another post the Poosh founder slammed the paparazzi, who sold pictures of her 'out and about while her husband was fighting for his life. Kardashian said the photos were taken weeks ago.
"A new level of love monetising off our nightmare. Really savagely uncool when I actually didn't leave his side; shame on you," she ended the post.
