BHUBANESWAR: With the single-day Covid-19 infections going past 200 in the state, schools in the capital city have asked teachers and students suffering from cold, cough and fever not to attend classes on campus. Parents have been asked to ensure that children come to school wearing masks and use sanitisers frequently. As some teachers have already contracted the virus, parents are concerned about sending their wards to school.
“Fluctuating temperature during monsoon along with Covid-19 are affecting all. Parents must ensure that children wear N-95 mask while going out or in school and carry a small bottle of sanitiser. All students should carry a raincoat or umbrella. We shall keep on enforcing the Covid-19 protocols in school and expect guardians’ support and cooperation to keep all our students and staff healthy,” read a notice, issued by DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur.
