Goa: Asha Bhosle visits Mangueshi temple

MARGO: Veteran singer Asha Bhosle visited Shree Mangesh Devasthan at Mangeshi, Ponda, on Saturday and paid her obeisance to her family deity, Shree Mangesh. Temple sources said that while Bhosle visits the temple every year, her current visit was after a four-year gap.
Secretary of the Devasthan Samiti, Arun Nadkarni, welcomed Bhosle in the temple premises and honoured her in the traditional style.
The renowned 91-year old singer also sang a devotional song in glory of Mangesh, an incarnation of Shiva, during her very brief visit to the temple.
Temple sources said that it was not a scheduled visit.
