Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held road shows in Morwa and Waidhan of Singrauli district on Sunday in support of BJP’s mayoral and corporator candidates.
After the roadshow, Chouhan addressed a gathering. He said, “Bharatiya Janata Party has done many development works in Singrauli from providing it a status of district and building medical and engineering colleges. If BJP wins the civic body election here, then Singrauli will get the gift of flyovers and by-pass roads and there will be all round development of the urban area.”
In his speech, Chouhan lambasted Congress party and Aam Aadmi Party and said that they did politics of appeasement. Taking a dig at AAP's Kejriwal, he said, “What good will he do for the people of Singrauli, who himself is unable to handle Delhi. Two ministers of his party involved in corruption are serving jail imprisonment.”
Chouhan further said that India was on the path of becoming a developed country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chouhan discussed all the welfare schemes being run by central and state governments and said that every poor will be given a land ownership on lease.
