So far, only the scooter’s colour could be identified, but the number could not be traced
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police are still clueless on the person who had hurled a bomb at the AKC Centre. Even though the police have been claiming that the person who had come with the bomb on the two-wheeler had received outside support, they are yet to create any breakthrough in the case.
Police have concluded that the person had received outside support because, in the CCTV visuals collected from the cameras on the roads approaching the AKG Centre, no plastic bag was seen on his scooter. However, after the person crossed Kunnukuzhi, a plastic bag was seen on the scooter.
Hence, police believe that this person, on his way to AKG Centre, had collected the bomb from somewhere else. Either someone had handed him the cover containing the bomb en route, or he had collected it from someplace. So far, only the scooter's colour could be identified, but the number could not be traced.
One held for provocative social media post
Meanwhile, Kazhakuttom police have taken Richu from Anthiyoorkonam, for questioning after he put a provocative social media post against the AKG Centre. He had posted, "If the SFI gang can do such things, then I can do it alone to the AKG Centre." Police recorded his arrest over the post, even though they could not trace his role in the actual incident. He had put similar posts in the past .
Police are also tracing those who have put such posts on social media and a few among them are under the radar.
