Meghnagar: Drone used to monitor elections

A large number of voters could be seen since Friday morning at the polling stations set up in four development blocks of the district.

Meghnagar (Madhya Pradesh): The voters of Meghnagar, Ranapura, Jhabua, and Rama enthusiastically participated in the second phase of the three-tier elections. The district collector informed that the monitoring of these booths was done by a drone including from highly sensitive areas of Ranapura and Rama although, no disputes arose in these areas.

A large number of voters could be seen since Friday morning at the polling stations set up in four development blocks of the district. The process began at 7:00 am and continued till after 3:00 pm. Tokens were distributed among the voters who voted after 3:00 pm.

Voting percentage in Jhabua was 73.92, Rama 71.88, Ranapur 65.44 and Meghnagar 76.07 at 3.00 pm for a cumulative 72.06 per cent voting in all the four regions.
