Customers of Canara Bank's savings accounts can get an annual interest rate on their deposits of 2.90 percent. Savings accounts with an outstanding balance of less than Rs. 50 lakh and between Rs. 50 lakh and less than Rs. 100 crore are eligible for this interest rate.

Canara Bank savings account customers can earn 2.90 percent interest rate per annum on their deposits. This interest rate is applicable on savings accounts with an outstanding balance of less than Rs. 50 lakh and between Rs. 50 lakh and less than Rs. 100 crore.


For savings accounts with balances above Rs 100 crore, Canara Bank has increased savings account interest rates. The bank has hiked savings account rate by 5 basis points for outstanding balance of Rs 100 crore to less than Rs 500 crore, the bank offers interest rate of 3.10 percent after the hike.

Canara Bank will now offer a 3.40 percent interest rate on outstanding savings account balances of 500 crore to less than 1000 crore. The interest rate on savings account balances of Rs. 1000 crore and above was raised by the bank by 5 basis points, to 3.55 percent. (These rates are effective from June 29, 2022)
