Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A two-month long summer camp organised for the children of village government schools concluded on Saturday. On the last day of the summer camp, kids visited a chocolate factory. At the chocolate factory of Rajendra Patel, they understood the process of making chocolates.
This summer camp was organised for the children of government schools in Taj Mahal Tappa village, which is located 25km away from the state capital. Here, Dr Ajay Mehta collaborated to organise summer camp. Akshat Help Health Research Society contributed to organising the camp. The camp started in May. The children were taught to make paper bags and many things made of paper. Drawing and dance were also taught.
During this camp, the children of Taj Mahal Tappa also planted saplings in the school premises. Children learned the benefits of trees during plantation drives and the children took a vow that they would protect the trees and at the same time the children named the trees after the great personalities of the country. Sport activities were and fun games were also held. In the last days of this summer camp, the children were taught how to keep school clean.
