Guna: Two polling personnel suspended for dereliction of poll duty

They have been charged for not attending the poll material distribution process at Government Excellence School, Bamori village, and being absent from Voting day on June 25, 2022, without providing any prior notice.

Guna (Madhya Pradesh): District Magistrate and district collector Frank Noble on Thursday suspended two government employees for dereliction of poll duty for the ensuing three-tier panchayat elections 2022.

They have been charged for not attending poll material distribution process at Government Excellence School, Bamori village and were absent from Voting day on June 25, 2022, without any prior notice.

Due to this, district magistrate and collector Frank Noble on Thursday suspended two government employees with the immediate effect for dereliction of poll duty under section 9 of MP Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1966.

As per detailed information from deputy district election officer Sindoskar, the suspended employee include Jagdish Bhargava (assistant teacher at Government Primary School, Dhanipura) and Hari Singh Yadav (teacher at Britya Government Secondary School Mahor, Guna district).

Sindoskar further added that actions against those violating model codes of conduct, defying orders from senior officials, and laxity in poll-related works would continue in the future as well.
