Awareness class for jail inmates held

Thiruvananthapuram: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) has conducted an awareness programme on the negative effects of drugs for the inmates of the district jail on the International Day Against Drug Abuse .
The programme titled ‘Lahari Oru Samoohika Vipathu’ was inaugurated by the secretary of DLSA K Vidyadharan.
The awareness class was held by the panel advocate of DLSA, Anitha G S.
District jail superintendent Binod George, jail welfare officer D R Ajayakumar, district jail legal aid panel advocate Kokila Babu, district jail assistant superintendent P M Narendran and DLSA paralegal volunteer Kumari Bindu L were present.
