AHMEDABAD: The city on Thursday recorded a maximum temperature of 38.4 degrees celsius, which was 2.9 degrees higher than normal. Likewise, the minimum temperature of 29 degrees was 2.5 degrees higher than normal. The city witnessed cloudy skies, but
rain eluded the city and its outskirts. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, all districts in Gujarat are likely to receive light to moderate rain in the next four days. Parts of South Gujarat received widespread rain, Umerpada in Surat district received 161mm of rainfall.
