Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri on Friday took a dig at actress Dia Mirza after she said former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray 'cared for the people and the planet'.

For those unversed, after Thackeray resigned as the CM, Dia tweeted, "Thank you @OfficeofUT. You cared for people and the planet. Conveying my gratitude and respect here 🙏🏻🙏🏻 May you have many more opportunities to serve the nation."

She had also tagged Aaditya Thackeray in her tweet.

Earlier today, Vivek shared a screenshot of her tweet and wrote, "Which planet? Planet Bollywood?"

Vivek also reacted to Swara Bhasker's tweet in which the actress called Thackeray an 'unbiased' and a 'responsible leader of Maharashtra'.

"Thank you for your leadership @OfficeofUT. U were unbiased & a responsible Leader of the State, transparent, communicative & assuring during COVID-19 crisis. Ur conduct turned critics like me into admirers. Work of Maha adm under u has been laudable. Go long & go strong," Swara tweeted.

Replying to her tweet, Vivek wrote, "Basically, paid Bollywoodiya brand ambassadors of UT communal-conflict enablers were critics as long as he was on the side of Hindus. The day he became anti-Hindu and an appeaser, they turned admirers. Money can make Bollywoodiyas dance to any tune."
