Bomb hurled at AKG Centre

Thiruvananthapuram: An explosive was hurled into the compound of AKG Centre, CPM state headquarters, on Thursday night around 11.30pm, police said. Party leaders staying at AKG Centre said they heard a powerful blast.
CCTV visuals accessed by television channels showed a two-wheeler rider hurling the explosive at AKG Centre. LDF convener E P Jayarajan condemned the attack and appealed to party workers not to be provoked. Police have launched a probe. There were huge protests in the capital by CPM and LDF workers. tnn
