The NSE Nifty index closed 28.2 points down at 15752.05, while BSE Sensex ended down 111.01 points at 52907.93.
On the other hand, .(down 13.53 per cent), .(down 7.20 per cent), .(down 2.55 per cent), .(down 2.21 per cent) and .(down 1.68 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
