Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday took disciplinary action against 18 rebel leaders and expelled them from the party for next six years after they were found contesting or running a campaign against the party-authorized candidates in the ongoing panchayat polls in the district.
The state organisation had sent a list of these expelled workers to BJP district president Sevadas Patel which includes Prakash Yadav, Dinesh Mali, Shailendra Chauhan, Preeti Jitendra Rathore, Monika Nitish Bajaj, Bablu Nimade, Ravi Awhar have been expelled from Khandwa Municipal Corporation area.
Similarly, Kiran Pati Akhilesh, Monica Dinesh More, Adil Khan Wali Mohammad, Kalabai Chauhan from Pandhana Municipal Council, Jairam Ramlal Kushwaha, Prakash Tarachand Ekle, Anil Prajapati from Mundi Municipal Council and Sharad Gupta, Ashish Gorakh, Sawan Manik, Dharmendra Rathod Dhammu have been expelled from the primary membership of the party for 6 years.
