Goa: Misuse of state machinery, Congress accuses BJP

PANAJI: State Congress and Shiv Sena accused BJP of misusing government machinery to protect Sena’s rebel MLAs.
State Congress president Amit Patkar alleged that the government was misusing official machinery to give shelter to the Sena rebels at the directions of their Delhi bosses.
“The government has been spending public money to benefit the BJP. We condemn this,” state Shiv Sena chief Jitesh Kamat said. Earlier in the day, Patkar had urged the chief minister not to entertain the Sena rebels saying the government machinery would be used on matters having no significance to the state, but only for political gains to BJP.
