RANCHI: The Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday rejected the petitions of candidates who sought inclusion in the interview for appointment of assistant engineers in the government. The court of Justice Rajesh Shankar had earlier heard the matter filed by Bhaskar Kumar and 38 other petitioners and had reserved his judgment in the matter. The court delivered its judgment on Wednesday and held that the claim of the petitioners is unfounded.
Kumar in his petition had said two different cut-off marks had been framed by the Jharkhand Public Services Commission for men and women appearing in the examination in the EWS category.
