Auto driver kills two daughters

Kalaburagi: An autorikshaw driver throttled his two daughters to death at Veerendra Patil Layout in Kalaburagi on Tuesday night. The victims are Sony, 11, and Mayuri, 9. Accused Lakshmikanth surrendered to police on Wednesday.
Lakshmikanth and his wife Shantha have four children and have been married for 17 years. Shantha ran away with another person four months ago, leaving her husband and four children behind. Since then the kids were living with Shantha's parents.
Four days ago Lakshmikanth took his children in his autorikshaw spent happy times with them. However, on Tuesday night he killed two children by squeezing their throats.
On Wednesday he surrenders with his two other children — Naveen and Shreya — at Mahathma Basaveshwar Nagar police. TNN
