Due to water logging on the New Nagardas Road, Sion Road number -24 and Hindmata Cinema Best diverted its over two dozen buses.
According to BEST spoke person, bus routes number 25, 40 and 368 are running on diverted route via Bhoiwada, because of water logging at Hindmata Cinema. Similarly, bus numbers 1, 6, 15, 11, 8, 4, 51, and 66 were diverted on flyover due to waterlogging at Hindmata Cinema.
Apart from that bus routes number 341, 411, 22, 25 and 312 are running via Sion Road number-3 instead of the permanent route via Sion Road number- 24.
In addition to that bus routes 308, 339, 392 and 441 were diverted to run vai old Nagardas Roa. In normal conditions, these buses are running via new Nagardas Road.
Technical problem in 'track point' at Dadar
Central Railway officials claimed that during the day local trains operation was normal, but in late evening few mainline local services were delayed up to 30 minutes.
"Trains on Mainline CSMT- Thane section were running late due to technical problem reported in track point at Dadar from 8.45 pm to 9.20 pm," said an officer of CR.
Earlier at 6.45 Shivaji Sutar, CPRO CR tweeted, "It's raining heavily in CSMT, Dadar, Byculla, Kurla section. Trains are running. For information" ( sic)
However, waterlogging (up to rail level) was also reported in the Sion section, but officials said train services were on.
Western Railway
Due to point failure at Santacruze station, All down slow suburban local trains are running late by 10 to 15 min.
'Unit defects' on WR in Afternoon
Western Railway officials claimed trains were running as usual during evening rush hours. "Due to technical glitch in a local train between Mira Road and Dahisar, in the afternoon ( between 12.55 to 1.25 pm on UP fast line )few local trains were affected, but during evening rush hours train servers were normal," said an officer of WR.
