Badnawar village of Dhar district witnessed a shocking incident, where a woman along with her three minor kids attempted to commit suicide by consuming a rat kill at her resident. However, alert neighbours immediately took them to the Civil Hospital, where timely treatment helped to save their lives.
The matter was reported at Kod village situated on the outskirt of Badnawar on Thursday morning.
The woman’s mother-in-law Prembai Sindal informed that her daughter-in-law Mamtabai, 40, wife of Santosh Sindal and her three kids, Seetu, 8, Pari, 7, and Kunal, 3, residing separately a few distances away from her residence. As her son Santosh works in some other place, on Thursday morning Mamta has an argument with him over some trivial issue.
Meanwhile, after some time, her neighbours saw all three kids vomiting outside their house along with their mother. Sensing something fishy, they immediately took them to the civil hospital, in an ambulance where timely treatment by the doctors saved all of them.
Doctors at the civil hospital informed that the condition of all three kids and their mother is said to be stable and they are out of danger.
Grandmother Prembai said that one of her granddaughters, Vedika, is fine as at the time of the incident she was alone with her and did not consume the poison.
