BOKARO: Amrendra Kumar (41), an armyman posted in Mizoram as Naik Subedar, has been reportedly missing since June 26. His family members sought help from chief minister and Bokaro deputy commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary in locating him.
Amarendra's wife Rekha Kumari said, "My husband is posted in the 21 Rajputana Rifles of the Indian Army. On the day of the incident, his duty was at Lakhipur North, Front Sarlek Lake Mountain. I received a call from his commanding officer from Mizoram on June 27 that Amrendra has been missing since 1 pm on June 26."
"I last spoke to him on June 24. I have sent letters to the chief minister and the Union defence ministry on Tuesday and submitted a letter in person to the district administration to help find him," she added.
