PRAYAGRAJ: A joint team of police, revenue and district administration on Wednesday seized properties worth Rs 9.75 crore of
Samajwadi Party (SP) district president Chhavinath Yadav in three villages of Pratapgarh district under the Gangsters Act.
Acting on an order of the district magistrate Pratapgarh, a team of police and administrative officials, including SDM, Kunda, and Deputy SP, Kunda, seized the SP district president's properties, including a degree college.
The SP leader's properties worth Rs 14.55 lakh in Maudara village, worth Rs 1.22 crore in Dilerganj village and Rs 7.86 crore in Dehgari Jamalpur village were seized under Section 14(1) of the Gangsters Act.
