Indore: Check names on voters’ list and counting results on app

The State Election Commission has launched ‘Chuvan’ mobile app. Affidavits of the candidates and result trends can also be followed.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Now, voters can check their names in the voters’ list on their mobile phones. Moreover, they can check the affidavits of the candidates, counting trends and results on the ‘Chunav’ mobile app.

The mobile app, ‘Chunav’, has been introduced by the State Election Commission to offer ease to voters. The app has been developed for the convenience of voters for the elections to the urban bodies and three-tier panchayats. Divisional commissioner Pawan Kumar Sharma has directed election officers of all the districts to ensure that the election app should be disseminated for the awareness of voters and candidates. The election mobile app can be downloaded from the website of the State Election Commission and Google Play Store. This app will run only on the Android platform.

The Android-based app has been updated for the convenience of the voters and candidates for the general election year, 2022, of urban bodies and three-tier panchayats. Voters’ information through app (searching names in the voters’ list), candidates’ information according to the summary of affidavits filed by the mayor, councillor and janpad panchayat, district panchayat candidates and election results of mayor, councillor and janpad panchayat member or district panchayat member can be obtained.
