Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The department of social work of BSSS launched its first newsletter KAL APNA - Kalpana, a student-led initiative. It talks about the plight and experience of social workers during COVID-19 who worked as catalysts throughout the crisis. The editorial of students with their mentor Anurupa worked extensively on idea generation, design, and execution.

BSSS Publication Cell launched three magazines and a book. Catering to diverse needs of students of social work for conceptual and exposure visits, the department of social work came out with a manual of Programme Guide and Field Work under the guidance of their Head of Department (HoD) Abraham.

PRO Manju Mehta said that the manual is unique due to inclusion of fieldwork components. It covers various encounters trainees face during fieldwork and combat problems associated with on field training and curriculum associations.
