J&K: LeT hybrid terrorist arrested in Bandipora; incriminating materials, including 3 AK rifles, IED recovered

The Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with security forces, have arrested a Lashkar (LeT) hybrid terrorist at a checkpoint near Papchan, Bandipora on Wednesday, the police informed.

The terrorist has been identified as Mehboob ul Inam.

The accused Inam, a resident of Nadihal, was intercepted at a checkpoint near Papchan, said a police official.

The police further informed that incriminating materials and arms and ammunition, including 3 AK rifles, 10 Magazines, 380 rounds, 2KGs IED Exp substance, and 01 Chinese grenade, were recovered from his possession.

"Police & SFs arrested an LeT hybrid #terrorist Mehboob ul Inam R/O Nadihal at checkpoint near Papchan #Bandipora. His disclosure led to recovery of #incriminating materials, arms/ammo including 3 AK-rifles, 10 Magazines, 380 rounds, 2KGs IED Exp substance, 01 Chinese grenade etc," the Jammu and Kashmir Police tweeted.
