
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 342.27 points down at 52819.01 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, RCI Industries & Te(down 16.32 per cent), (down 14.63 per cent), Rishi Techtex(down 11.54 per cent), Alfa Transform(down 9.75 per cent) and Graviss Hosp(down 9.69 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 95.2 points down at 15736.85.
On the BSE, , , , and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , ST Corporation, . Ltd., and touched their fresh 52-week highs.
