Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government carried out a major reshuffle in the state and transferred thirty-seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers including collectors of nineteen districts.
An order issued by the General Administrative Department (GAD) of the government on Tuesday informed about the reshuffle.
As per the order, Durg Collector and 2011 batch IAS officer, Sarveshwar Bhure has been appointed as the new Raipur Collector, meanwhile, Raipur Collector, Saurabh Kumar, has been appointed as collector Bilaspur.
Korba Collector Ranu Sahu, who was in news for having a confrontation with revenue minister Jay Singh Agarwal who publicly alleged the district collector is corrupt has been transferred and appointed as new collector Raigarh. Outgoing Collector Raigarh, Bhim Singh, has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran. The 2008 batch IAS officer Bhim Singh also has been given the additional charge of Commissioner of Commercial Tax.
2002 batch IAS officer and Secretary of Technical Education and Employment Department Reeta Shandilya has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Revenue. Meanwhile, 2005 batch IAS officer R Sangeetha has been appointed as Secretary of Technical Education and Employment Department and Nodal Officer of Pradhanmantri Gatishakti Yojana. Director of Social Welfare Department and 2006 batch IAS officer P Dayanand has been appointed as Director of Ayush.
2007 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary of Cooperative Department and Registrar of Cooperative Institutions Himshikhar Gupta has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary of Commerce and Industry Department. He has been relieved from the additional charge of Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Road Development Corporation. 2007 batch IAS officer Janak Prasad Pathak has been appointed as Special Secretary of Water Resources Department. 2008 batch IAS officer and Registrar of Firms and Societies and Mission Director of Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) Satyanarayan Rathor has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of Warehousing Corporation. 2009 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department Dr Priyanka Shukla has been appointed as new Kanker Collector. 2009 batch IAS officer Dr Tamboli Ayyaj Fakirbhai has been appointed as Special Secretary of the Agriculture Department. He has been given the additional charge of Nodal Officer of Narva Garwa Ghurwa Bari and Chhattisgarh Godhan Yojana, Mati Pujan Abhiyan, Director of Urban Administration and Development Department and Member Secretary of Narva Mission.
2009 batch IAS officer and Balodabazar-Bhatapara Collector Doman Singh has been appointed as new Rajnandgaon district collector.
2010 batch IAS officer and Bilaspur Collector Saransh Mittar has been appointed as Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Road and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
On the large scale of transfer of IAS officers, Chief Minister Baghel while speaking to media said, it is a routine up process of GAD.
