The Ministry of Electronics and IT (Meity) had announced that the users will be able to access their DigiLocker account through WhatsApp. Citizens will also get access to the MyGov Helpdesk while using the mobile application. With this collaboration, users will be able to download all important documents like – PAN card, driver’s license, class 10 mark sheet, class 12 mark sheet and vehicle RC via WhatsApp.
The DigiLocker services can be available on WhatsApp through the MyGov Helpdesk chatbot and through DigiLocker you can download your documents which are linked to your Aadhar card. Downloading your documents via WhatsApp can help you to save your much time. Note that before accepting the Digilocker service you need to read carefully Digilocker privacy policy and accept accordingly.

Save +91-9013151515 as MyGov Helpdesk in your contacts.

Search for MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp.

Type Digilocker, Namaste or Hi to activate the chatbot.

The chatbot will show available options.

Click on Yes option and Select Digilocker services when asked about whether you have a Digilocker account.
6.
Enter 12-digit Aadhar number when chatbot asks. It is mandatory to link and authenticate your Digilocker account.
7.
Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
8.
After accepting the OTP, the chatbot will list the documents linked to your Aadhar number.
