Gujarat: Police arrest 12 members of Bichchu gang in Dwarka

All the arrested gangsters have been booked under Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organized Crime (GUJCTOC) Act.
RAJKOT: Police have arrested twelve members of Bicchu gang in Devbhumi Dwarka district. The gang was allegedly involved crimes likes attempt to murder and extortion in the region. The police have booked them all under Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organized Crime (GUJCTOC) Act.
According to police, the gang was involved in various criminal activities for last one and half decade in Okha, Mithapur, Khambhaliya and Dwarka talukas.
Superintendent of police Devbhumi Dwarka district, Nitesh Pandey said, "The gang members were involved in several cases of extortion from various contractors and sub contractors in the district. The gang was running an organised crime syndicate."
According to police the gang members were involved in various crimes like attempt to murder, threatening, extortion, running gambling dens and selling liquor etc.
The arrested criminals have been identified as Lalubha Sumaniya, Vanrajbha Sumaniya, Hajabha Sumaniya, Jagdishbha Sumaniya, Sajabha Sumaniya, Rajeshbhai Sumaniya, Nathubha Sumaniya, Mapbha Sumaniya, Mansangbha Manek, Mansangbha Sumaniya and Malabha Sumaniya. The 12th accused Kishan Manek was already in police custody for a month, he was also booked under GUJCTOC.
