Indore: Procession taken out from Devasthan to Chhatribagh

The Maha Abhishek of Lord Venkatesh was done with milk, curd, ghee, sugar, perfume, and saffron.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): On the third day of Bramhotsav on Monday, chanting of mantras by students and saints, accompanied by music, was held Shri Lakshmi Venkatesh Devasthan Chhatribagh.

The Maha Abhishek of Lord Venkatesh was done with milk, curd, ghee, sugar, perfume, and saffron.

After two years, a procession was taken out from Devasthan to Chhatribagh in the evening. Special preparations were made for the arrival of the Lord. Devotees decorated the streets and their houses with rangoli and said prayers for the lord.

This celebration is considered one of the biggest rath yatra celebrations.The Rath yatra of Lord Venkatesh will be led out on July 1 in Indore.

Lord Venkatesh, seated on Hanuman Maharaj, came out among the devotees. Girls were dancing, and singer Harikishan Sabu sang hymns.
