Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Congress mayoral candidate Sanjay Shukla campaigned in legislative assembly constituency-2 in the city on Sunday.
Shukla discussed problems in the area with the citizens during the campaign. He roamed the streets of Vijayanagar, Aranya Nagar and its adjoining areas and sought the support of the people.
During this Shukla targeted the BJP mayoral candidate, he said that before competing in the election he was working in Indore on the post of additional advocate general by the government. During that time, along with the salary he received from the government, he also got a salary from semi-government organisations.
He claimed there is a list of about 20 such institutions including Indore Municipal Corporation, Indore Development Authority, Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company, Ujjain Municipal Corporation, Dewas Municipal Corporation, and others from where he was getting his monthly salary.
Shukla while addressing during the campaign said, “This area is lacking basic facilities and I will provide them. This crowd is a blessing for me.
