Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Technical glitches during the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 on Sunday left the aspirant fuming.
Almost all the centres in Indore faced an issue where the screen went blank on some questions. Students could not even see the questions.
In Indore, JEE Main centres were: Acropolis Institute of Technology; Chameli Devi Group of Institutions; Symbiosis University; EON Centre, Dewas Naka; and IPS Academy.
Despite an increase in the number of centres this year, technical glitches cropped up, potentially affecting the scores of the aspirants.
Some aspirants reached their JEE mentors at coaching centres and sought guidance. JEE mentors helped them calm down with the hope that National Testing Agency (NTA) will be considering the challenge faced by aspirants.
The examination was conducted in two shifts. First shift was held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second was held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
“NTA changed the interface entirely and none of us had practised on this one. This affects our speed. This time, Maths was moderate to tough. It was lengthy, which was more of a problem,” Harshil Singh, an aspirant, said.
Another aspirant Vansh Maheshwari said, "Mathematics was lengthy. It was on a conceptually higher level."
