Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): All over the world, governments construct, fill lakes and ponds. In Sagar, the state government is doing an experiment in which it emptied Lakha Banjara Lake. Former chief minister Kamal Nath stated this while addressing a public rally in Sagar in support of mayoral candidate Nidhi Sunil Jain on Sunday. The party held a road show in the city.

The six-kilometre long rally was taken out from the residence of Jain that concluded at Ambedkar statue in Bhagwanganj area. In his address, Nath blamed state government for smart city project, which is causing problems to netizens for more than a year. He added that city roads had been dug out without planning. He said lake was constructed long ago but it dried due to vested interests. The citizens paid the prize.
