Mumbai captain Prithvi Shaw was seen helping out the groundstaff in pulling the covers when rain stopped play on the penultimate day of the Ranji Trophy final at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and netizens lauded the young skipper’s effort.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh created history and captured their maiden Ranji Trophy title, defeating favourites Mumbai in the finals by six wickets on Sunday.

This win is a historic one for Madhya Pradesh, as they captured their maiden Ranji title. The victory becomes even more significant because they defeated 41-time champions Mumbai, who were heading into the finals as favourites.
