Bhopal: Rally taken out on International Day Against Drug Abuse

Students, youths take pledge to lead drug-free life

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): To mark International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a rally ‘Nasha Ko Na Zindagi Ko Ha’ (Say no to drugs, yes to life) was organised on Sunday. The event was jointly organised by the department of social justice, Sahara Literacy Educational and Social Welfare Society, Bhopal. Department commissioner E Ramesh Kumar flagged off the rally. Hundreds of children, youths and women participated in the rally as a mark of their support to the campaign against drugs.

The rally started from directorate 1250, Link Road No. 2 and after passing through Mayur Park, Taran Pushkar, Bal Bhavan and concluded at Narmada Mandir Auditorium with the speech of the guests. The keynote speaker of the program, Shailendra Singh Chouhan, additional deputy Commissioner of Police, Narcotics Department, administered the oath to children and youths to lead a drug-free life.
