Active cases rise for 8 days, 135 fresh infections in 24 hrs

Jaipur: For eight days in a row, Covid active cases have increased. In the past 24 hours, it rose from 713 to 751.
Active cases had touched the 657-mark on May 29, but dipped in the next few days touching the below-400 mark.
The cause of concern for health authorities is that earlier only Jaipur had witnessed the rise in active cases, but now districts like Bikaner (88), Jodhpur (68), Ajmer (60), Alwar (55)and Udaipur (32) have also reported a spike. Jaipur has 300 active cases currently.
In three days, 371 persons were found infected with the virus, out of which 135 tested positive on Thursday. The overall tally has increased to 12,87,554. No death has been reported. The toll stands at 9,561.
In 24 hours, Jaipur reported 48 cases, Bikaner (16), Jodhpur (13), Ajmer (11), Dausa (10) and Alwar (9).
