Bihar: Siwan Bandhan Bank staff robbed of Rs 47,000 in Vaishali

PATNA: A day after criminals looted Rs 3.4 lakh from Bandhan Bank in Vaishali district, an employee of another branch of the same bank in Siwan was robbed of ₹47,000 on Thursday.
The incident took place near Shivrajpur village under the Barharia police station area in Siwan. Motorcycle-borne masked criminals looted ₹47,000 from one Amarnath Sah, an employee of Bandhan Bank, who was on way to the branch to deposit the money after collection.
SHO Arvind Kumar said the criminals were following Sah and they intercepted his bike near Shivrajpur “We have begun an investigation into the incident,” he added.
Body found: The body of an e-rickshaw driver was found near Aghouniya Dhala under the Mufassil police station area in Siwan district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Dharmendra Basfor (27), a resident of Bhantapokhar village under the same police station.
The family members of the victim alleged that garage owner thrashed him to death. The rickshaw driver had gone missing two days back. His brother Jitendra Basfor said the victim used to work in the garage of one Sahil Khan.
