Popular playback singer Manjari tied the knot with her childhood friend fiancé Jerin. The couple got married in a close-knit wedding held in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday (June 24) morning. The gorgeous bride Manjari slipped into a red saree, accessorized with gold jewellery, while the groom wore a red kurta, and white dhoti to their wedding.
Manjari and Jerin knew each other from a very young age. They went to school together in Muscat, from the first grade, and have been friends ever since then. A native of Pathanamthitta, Jerin works as an HR Manager in Bangalore.

Post the wedding, the couple went to Magic Academy to celebrate the special occasion with specially-abled kids. On their way to the academy, the newlyweds posted a video, seeking blessings. “Today is an important day in my life. We got married. We will be spending the day with kids at Magic Academy. There are a lot of talented kids, and we will be having lunch with them, along with our families. We need your prayers and support for our life together,” Manjari said in the video.

Manjari had given her fans a glimpse of the pre-wedding festivities including the Mehendi.

Meanwhile, Manjari was earlier married to Vivek Prasad. They entered wedlock in 2009, however, parted ways a few years later.

Manjari began her career in cinema, crooning iconic musician Ilaiyaraaja’s composition for the 2005 release ‘Achuvinte Amma’. A recipient of two Kerala State Film Awards for best playback singer, Manjari has worked with some of the legendary musicians including Ramesh Narayan, Ilayaraaja, MG Radhakrishnan, Kaithapram Viswanathan, Vidyasagar, M Jayachandran, Ouseppachan, Mohan Sithara, Raveendran Master and Johnson Master, among others. She has crooned over 500 songs in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films.
