Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Thursday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Hisar Metal Ind(13.67%), Spandana Sphoorty(12.71%), Ganges Securities(12.62%), Steel Cast(12.32%), Acrysil(11.71%) and Dev.(11.01%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 570.67 points up at 52393.2, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 174.9 points to 15588.2.
In the Nifty 50 index, 47 stocks traded in the green, while 3 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , . Ltd., ST Corporation, and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , , Star Health and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
