CM inaugurates Uttarakhand science and tech congress at Doon university

“The New Education Policy has been implemented in the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the policy has been made keeping in mind every aspect to make the future of the youth better,” said Dhami at the inauguration.
He also said that in 2025, when the silver jubilee of the state will be celebrated, Uttarakhand has to be included in the best states of the country, for which everyone will have to work together. “The elixir of knowledge that will emerge from the churning in this Science Congress will also give a new zeal and energy, which will help with the progress of our state. Through this program, we should move forward with the motto of ‘Resolution without choice’ by making resolution a power,” said the CM.
All scientists and researchers have been asked to make suggestions to the field of science and technology to make Uttarakhand a leading state. “Only three science cities have been built in the country, but Dehradun will soon come up as a science city itself. Five hundred research abstracts related to 17 different subjects have come to the Science and Technology Congress and 496 scientists and researchers from different parts of the country are participating, of which 301 are female,” said state information technology secretary Sowjanya.
Experts said that for the acceleration of the pace of development in the state, talents of Uttarakhand scientists need to be presented at the global level. Professors from various colleges and universities of the country, as well as prominent scientists, were present at the inauguration. An exhibition of new discoveries and student startups was also a part of the program.
