Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Minaxi Textiles(19.93%), Spandana Sphoorty(19.87%), (19.25%), Responsive Ind.(17.58%), Ajcon Global(17.01%), Ishan Dyes Chem(16.04%), Mehai Technology(15.55%), .(15.54%), (15.38%) and Citadel Realty(15.31%).
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 443.19 points up at 52265.72, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 143.35 points up at 15556.65.
In the Nifty50 index, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Gensol Engg, , Sterling Green, and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , Shristi Infra, Wardwizard Innov(PP), and touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
