Umang Dairies(up 5.34%), Nakoda Group(up 4.67%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 3.05%), Future Consumer(up 2.63%), Prataap Snacks(up 2.43%), Varun Beverages(up 1.90%), Dabur India(up 1.70%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 1.64%), Hind.Foods(up 1.43%) and ADF Foods(up 1.36%) were among the top gainers.
Euro India Fresh Foods(down 1.85%), Dangee Dums(down 1.36%), DFM Foods(down 0.79%) and Gillette India(down 0.43%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 171.7 points up at 15585.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 553.1 points at 52375.63 at around 10:34AM.
Hero MotoCorp(up 3.94%), Maruti Suzuki(up 3.82%), Eicher Motors(up 3.2%), Tata Motors(up 2.91%), Asian Paints(up 2.7%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.62%), ICICI Bank(up 2.43%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.18%), Axis Bank(up 2.11%) and Bajaj Auto(up 2.02%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.9%), Enterprises(down 0.84%) and Titan Company Ltd(down 0.45%) were trading in the red.
