DALTONGANJ: Man files FIR against wife for chopping off his private parts

DALTONGANJ: A 25-year-old man of Nawadih village in Palamu district has filed a complaint against his wife for allegedly chopping part of his private parts.
Prabhat Ranjan Rai, officer in-charge of Ramgarh police station, said, “Sunil Bhujhar filed an FIR on June 20 accusing his wife of chopping part of his private parts in the intervening night of June 17 and 18. He has also accused his wife of having an affair and claimed that the woman and her lover conspired to sexually incapacitate him. Probe is on.”
Rai said the woman has been detained and interrogation is underway. “Bhujhar is undergoing treatment at Medinirai medical college hospital in Daltonganj,” he said, adding: “The chopped off portion is being searched for.”
Rai said the victim may have been first sedated before the excision process.
Surgeon Makbool Ansari attending the victim said Bhujhar’s wounds are very raw. “He bled profusely. He has been put on the catheter. This is a rare case of rare torture,” he added.
