Thiruvananthapuram: After a gap of nearly four months, the state has crossed the 4,000 mark when it comes to daily Covid-19 cases. As many as 4,224 positive tests have been reported in the state on Tuesday.
It was on February 24 that the state had previously crossed that mark with 4,064 cases.
Ernakulam reported 1,170 cases — the most for a district in the state on Tuesday — which was followed by 733 cases in
Thiruvananthapuram, 549 in Kottayam, 309 in Pathanamthitta, 306 in Kozhikode and 291 in Kollam.
As many as 24 more deaths have been confirmed as due to Covid-19 on Tuesday. The total number of active cases are 24,333 of which 6,924 are in Ernakulam. The test positivity rate is 16.69%. Since June 14,
