Mysuru: A second division clerk attached to the office of executive engineer of PWD in Chamarajanagar was caught red-handed when receiving a bribe from a complainant by the sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. ACB SP VJ Sajeeth said clerk Govindaiah was trapped soon after he allegedly received a bribe of Rs 7,500 from complainant Mahesh of Chamarajanagar. He had demanded money to issue class-IV PWD contractor license. He was caught at his office on Tuesday, the officer said. TNN
